5 Parks Ride
Due to an overwhelming response for the 5 Parks Ride, there are now no more spaces available.
The fourth annual 5 Parks Ride is taking place as part of the Big Cycle Weekend at Markeaton Park on Sunday 12 July.
This year the ride will be kicked off at by Derby County manager Nigel Clough and club mascot Rammie.
The ride follows local cycle routes and paths for 6 circular miles around the green heart of Derby. It's a short and easy ride that takes you through many of the city's parks, open spaces, along the river and through the city centre.
The ride is in aid of Macmillan Cancer Support. Macmillan work to improve the lives of people affected by cancer. They provide practical, medical, emotional and financial support and campaign for better cancer care.
Rides will leave from the Macmillan Cancer Support stand between 10am and 1pm. The route is six miles, and remember, this is a sponsored leisure ride NOT a race, bring all the family for an excellent day out.
All riders finishing the course will receive a certificate, cycling goodie bag and a pair of tickets to see Derby County play Stoke at Pride Park on 2nd August.
