Leisurely cross-country mountain bike ride using cyle paths, quiet roads and bridleways. Roughly 20 miles/3hrs riding.
Starting at the Museum Square on the Wardwick, we will ride east out of the city along cycle paths and roads to Chaddesden, and then on to Locko Park and Dale Abbey via bridleways. We will carry on out to Stanton-by-Dale for a pub stop and then loop back towards the city along the same route.
A moderate level of fitness and a well-maintained mountain bike are needed. Please ensure you bring a puncture repair kit, and a helmet is recommended. Please wear appropriate clothing for the weather and it's advised to bring hydration and a snack or two for en-route.
