Follow up to the lunacy of the cyclist ban on the made up path through Darley Fields. It seems that there is to be a meeting next week about this issue. The council people involved have indicated they will let me know the outcome. It would be good to think this path could be legally used as the darker nights approach.

Thanks for the update on this... hope that cyclist get to use the path as that riverside one isn't too great! I've only riden that way a few times but it took the edge of what would have been a nice ride out from Alvaston to Horsley Woodhouse and back.

 I'm glad I don't have to commute that way - think I'd be tempted into risking using the main path!
