I had a bash at ROUTE 66 recently. Officially 25miles. My version was 28.6 miles! The signage on the Southside is great but around Spondon/Chaddesden/Oakwood...Oh dear! Another practice run needed. Is there ever a "Group Cycle 66" day? That could be fun....

A "group ride" around 66 would be something I may be up for too - depending on work that is!

Sinfin Lane/Sinfin Moor Lane has me thinking I'd have to use the old mountain bike though... I do NOT like that surface!

As I start to plan a ROUTE 66 group ride for 2010.... any suggestions for good tea stops?
