Thought I'd share this snippet with you sent to me by Sustrans Ranger, Les Sims.....

:At long last we have a date for the Opening Public Ride on the new Breadsall Greenway, and that is Sunday 22nd November.
The ride, led by the Derby Group of Sustrans Rangers, will start from The Quad in Derby Market Place at 11am and go (mostly off-road) to the current extreme end of the new path, a distance of about 3.75 miles.
There will be soup, plus hot and cold drinks available at Breadsall Station, which is about halfway along the new Greenway.
The official opening ceremony (not open to the general public) will be on Wednesday 18th November.
