Get Fitter By Bike

Health on Wheels is a new series of led rides and confidence and skills run by the CTC Cycle Champions Programme. It is open to anybody who would like to cycle to stay healthy, or to help a current health condition through gentle physical activity. Cycling is excellent for physical and mental wellbeing. Getting on a bike is one of the easiest ways to keep fit. It's a lot cheaper than gym membership and can be much more fun.

The rides will be short and at a gentle, leisurely pace to suite everybody. They will usually go to a local beauty spot or place of interest with a break on route to replenish energy levels at a café of local pub. Qualified cycle trainers will be on hand to give you all the support and help you need. And you don't even need your own bike as we can provide it for you. Best of all, sessions are completely FREE.
