Have your say on Derby's travelling future

The Government has invited Derby City Council to apply for money to help us deliver sustainable transport solutions which tackle pollution and congestion in our city and encourage visitors to come to Derby.  We can bid for money from the Local Sustainable Transport Fund to cover the next four years.

Our work on sustainable transport, like many other services, has been affected by the savings made by the Government to reduce the national debt.  So we feel it is really important for Derby to take this opportunity to bid for funding to help us continue to improve transport in our city.

To give us a better chance of success in our bid we need the help of local people to highlight local issues. We are asking people who live and work in Derby to fill in a short questionnaire about which forms of transport the use to get around and what they would like to see change. We will use your answers and evidence of things we know have worked in other parts of Derby and in other cities similar to Derby, to put forward a package of measures in our bid.
