Second Winter Race Report

It was like riding through treacle!!!!!  That's how it felt like for all the competitors who came to ride the second of the winter race series.

This is what cyclocross is really like, cold and very muddy, great practice for all of you who are planning to come and race at Osmaston Park on Sunday 9 January 2011.  We will have racing all the way through from 9.30 till 15.30 so everyone will have plenty of chance to get muddy. One of the races is a relay so start planning your teams now!

We took some fantastic photos to show everyone how we tackled the course and have all the winners proudly displaying their trophies so please talk a look at the gallery.

We had our regular riders but one in particular who raced up a category deserves a special mention. Although Bailey Wilmot is only 11 I asked him to race in the U14's & 16's he had his worked cut out and managed to pull away from Emma Price to take the win. Well done Bailey it's good to challenge yourself.
