Old Boy Racers Sponsored Ride, June 2008

On 4th June 2008 local 'old-boy-racer' Dave Williams along with five mates - Martyn Hallam, Martin Roper, Dave Bennett, Steve Diksa, Kev Mason - will set off on a sponsored bike ride in aid of the charity Scope.

They will cycle from Budapest to Vienna via Bratislava; in total about 170 miles. By June 7th, as the European Championships kick off, they shouold be in Vienna

The six riders are pledged to raise £10,000 in total. As of 15 November they had already secured £2,543. All sponsorship is gratefully received. If you make your donations on the Just Giving site the government allowance of 28p for every pound you donate is automatically arranged.
