Sustrans Bike It
Bike It is a project which aims to increase the number of young people cycling to school.
David Clasby is the Bike It Officer for Derby.
Bike It works in selected primary and secondary schools.
The project works in areas such as providing cycle skills, cycle storage, in class activities, maintenance, cycle rides and cycling events.

Bike It is funded by the bicycle industry through The Bike Hub and Cycle England. Bike It is managed by Sustrans, the sustainable transport charity which is building the National Cycle Network.
Derby was one of the original Bike It pilot towns from May 2004.
