FREE Bikes for Keyworkers
If you are a keyworker in Derby you can access free bike services.
Wheels to Work Derbyshire and Lifecycle UK (Bike Back Derby) have refurbished bikes to give away for free and thanks to funding from Foundation Derbyshire, all key workers can also get free acccessories.

Most, if not all bike shops have remained open during the Covid-19 restrictions, although operating hours may vary.

Lifecycle UK are still taking donations of unwanted bikes during lockdown, provided donors follow government guidelines on when it is appropriate to leave the house.
Your kind donations help them get more bikes refurbished and back out to keyworkers and those that really need them.

Cycling for Families
Cycle Derby are now trialling Bikeability Family.
This offer is open to families of 6 or less where all members are able to ride a bike.

British Cycling are offering a 3 month British Cycling Commute Membership FREE for all NHS staff which includes insurance and legal cover.

The Sustainable Transport charity Sustrans is offering a free personalised cycle route service for those wishing to travel to work or look for new job opportunities by bike.

Interactive Online Cycle Map
You can access an interactive online cycle map, created for keyworkers by Sustrans, showing the cycle services available in your local area.
Simply enter your postcode for details of bike shops that are still open, cycle equipment, cycle repair and maintenance and cycle loan or hire services.

National Cycle Network
Sustrans are the custodians of the National Cycle Network (NCN), a network of paths that extend 16,500 miles across all parts of the UK.
Derbyshire has 3 NCN cycle routes and 2 regional routes to explore.
